~ WHITE WEDNESDAY # 40 ~
Happy~ White Wednesday~ Friends, Hope you all are having a great week. The weather here in Southern California is beautiful for antiquing. We had decided to beat the crowds in Fall Brook, this past weekend. And instead went to Palm Springs for the day. We found some beautiful items there, which are on a previous post before this one. But I have here a beautiful Victorian cast iron urn we picked up at the Long Beach flea market last month. And it was a great price. We could never have found another one for that price.
Hopefully the roses will be able to take the heat from the iron when it gets warmer this Summer. Well Thank You for stopping by and have a great ~White Wednesday~ Please be sure to go check out Faded*Charm to see every ones White Wednesday. And over at ~SouthernCharm~ for ~Out Door Wednesday~ Julian

~Goodie's From Palm Springs~
Hi Friend's Hope you had a good time this weekend. Either gardening or out looking for treasures. Today I'm going to join in on the Today's Thrifty Treasure's party with Rhoda at ~ Southern Hospitality~ We went out looking for goodies and here is one item I found at an antique stores we stopped at in Palm Springs. I will post a few more pic's once I take them. We found a great Victorian cast iron chair, It's has the "Morning Glory" pattern. And an old fountain of a girl holding a duck. I think she is about 25-40 years old. Maybe a little older. I also found this great antique postcard with a Easter Rabbit holding an American Flag sitting in a basket with red white and blue eggs. We like to collect Holiday post cards with the American Flag when I can find them. I think, I will let this one lead the Vintage Easter party parade. The party is being hosted over at ~Anything Goes Here~ on March the 28. Hosted by Joan.
Thanks for visiting!!......Julian

~ Show And Tell Friday ~ Dog Painting
It's ~Show And Tell Friday ~ Hosted by Cindy over at My Romantic Home. I hope you are doing well today. It's looks like it's going to be a good weekend. With barn sales this weekend in Fall brook. In northern San Diego county. Today I have pictures of my early Birthday gift. Since the earth decided to shake here in California a week ago. Raymond decided to give me, my present a month early. You see he had hidden it in a place where it might, have fallen and gotten ripped. So I lucked out. It's an oil on canvas around late 19th century or turn of the century. Of two pug pups, getting into trouble by tearing up their masters, Punch doll. I like the eyes of the one who has the arm in his mouth. As to say "did I do that?" Raymond found this beautiful painting at The Chapman Antique Mall in Orange, Ca.
Hope you enjoy "Thank You" for visiting today. Have great Friday......Julian

Oh yes has anyone noticed your profile views have stopped counting? The number of times someone has visited your profile. I was just wondering was me or the Blogger. ~Show And Tell Friday~ Rose dressing screen
Happy ~Show And Tell Friday~
Everyone I hope your all doing well today. Looks like it going to be a beautiful weekend here in California. Great weather for going to the flea market this Sunday over at the Rose Bowl, in Pasadena.
Unfortunately, I need to work this weekend. I had decided to post one of our Victorian screens in our small collection. This is a hand painted screen. Maybe from the late teens to the mid 20's. There are pink roses and a couple of butterflies and a song bird. I'm not sure if they show up that well on the photos. I hope you all enjoy your ~Show And Tell Friday~ Have a good weekend. Oh yes, I forgot to mention this is the first Camellia bud to open in our garden. A couple days ago she decided to make her debut that day. Happy hunting, if you go flea marketing or garage sale hunting this weekend. "Thank You" for visiting today....Julian
