Happy Birthday Julian - these are treasures - Oh, you made my heart skip when you mentioned San Diego - I grew up there as a child - in the Chula Vista area - I have such rosy memories - life seemed perfect. One of the things I used to do was to climb to the roof of our house - ranch - to watch the sunset in the ocean. I left there in '78 when my dad retired from the Navy and have been in the South for the majority of the time since.

Happy Birthday Julian from Alabama! My friend who played football at San Diego State told me that if I ever visited San Diego I'd never leave, although the culture shock might be fatal, as my folks have been here since 1815 in one spot and basically my life is stuck in about 1850. Your new fountain is beautiful and I'm sure the garden is worthy. Thanks for being one of my 17 blog followers. You are appreciated. Marshel ( bamaplanter.blogspot.com)
