Hi everyone I finally made it. I just arrived home from work and decided to post at the last minute for ~ Show And Tell Friday ~ and also for ~ Garage Salen Partay ~ hosted by Debbie. I hope you all are having a great week and are ready for a weekend of fun and garage salen or flea market adventures. I'm looking forward to a good one here in So Cal. in the city of Irvine called the Groves. We took some pictures of one, of the five bird baths we have through out the front and back gardens. That we picked up at estate sales or flea markets. Along with one of our bird feeders. We get visitors such as doves , orioles, house finches, blue birds, bluejays, woodpeckers, goldfinches, blackbirds and Lazarus buntings, and flycatchers along with a couple other's. Oh yes and lots of humming birds.

Luv your antique bird baths Julian! Sounds like you've made a nice home for all kinds of birds. I did something similar in my yard too and I enjoy watching them drink from the fountain. Except now, I'm starting to get the black crows too! They're feisty.

LOVE the birdbaths, but I LOVE the three dogs sitting together the BEST!!! Have a wonderful WW!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sue
Hi Julian,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great line up of your pooches how did you get them to sit still??
Your birdbaths are lovely and it must be great to see so many different kinds of birds. We have lots of Herring Gulls busy stealing ice creams from children on the beach.
Enjoy the rest of your week, Wednesday is nearly the weekend!!
Keep Smiling,
Angela.
Great bird bath and feeder. I've found having birds in the yard keeps down some of the bugs that eat my plants. Your dogs are so cute all sitting together.
ReplyDeleteI have a weakness for birdbaths as well as chippy urns. I see you do too. Always enjoy your garden shots and seeing those pooches of yours.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday.
Kathleen
Hello Julian,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great birdbath! I have also been enjoying all the birds returning to the garden. Though we don't have Oriloes or Blue Birds, those are some lovely birds to have around to admire:-)

Loved your post all the things you featured today.
ReplyDeleteOh I love old birdbaths and the one you have with the original birds still attached is terrific! I'm amazed they have survived in such excellent condition- I always see them with tails or beaks busted off or the entire bird portion missing and patched badly. You've got a fabulous piece on your hands! Happy VTT!
ReplyDeleteLove those wonderful old birdbaths...and always, the gardens they live in,are the most beautiful ones to be found.
ReplyDeleteHappy VTT..have a lovely weekend...and p.s. Give those adorable, little sweetie fur babies a hug for me. They're just so sweet..
