This bed of irises with their color of blue underneath our vintage garden deer. This is the kind of deer I don't mind in the garden he wont eat much of the pretty blooms.
Ray's peach tree has just came out of its slumber and decided to put out some blooms. Hopefully they will turn into some sweet peaches this year.
Here is one of the lavender bushes that have been blooming for the past month.
I have been cleaning out some of the plants that were damaged with the frost, but Jack Frost didn't get to some of this geranium flowers.
Here are some pretty pink geranium blooms that have survived the frost this winter which I am glad about. But this week we are expecting some more rain that will nourish the garden once again.
And last but not least here is a purple leaved plum tree that has given us a gift of pretty pink blossoms. Well I hope you all enjoyed the garden this morning and until next time wishing you all a great week.....Julian & Ray Today I will be linking up to ~ FISH TAIL COTTAGE ~ for ~ COTTAGE FLORA THURSDAYS ~ to ~ FRENCH COUNTRY COTTAGE ~ and also for ~SATURDAY SHOW OFF ~

Dear Julian and Ray, How very exciting it is, as you show, when the garden emerges once more into life after the dreariness of winter. I am amazed to see lavender in flower this early on.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow I fly to my home in Budapest where I see the weather is only just above freezing and that light snow is expected. So much for spring!!
You have a beautiful yard! I know I've had plants bloom early this year and I'm loving it! Thanks for the great pictures and the reminder that along with my flowers, I also received some weeds as well!

Good Morning guys! I love the deer, I wouldn't mind him either! You are so lucky to have things blooming already, we have snow and muck! It wants to melt but still has a long way to go. Do your geraniums survive year after year like a perennial? I would love not to have to buy them every year! I have some friends that keep them going by their windows but our windows are too drafty and so we have to keep the curtains drawn all winter. Yours are lovely, Theresa xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms. I especially like those geraniums. So pretty. Looks beautiful there. We're expecting some warm temps today here on the Gulf Coast. I'm so looking forward to lots of blooms this year.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your plants blooming already! We have lots of snow. I am eager for it to be gone! :)
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from Fishtail Cottage's party.
Have a great day.
