~Show And Tell Friday~ Rose dressing screen

Happy ~Show And Tell Friday~

Everyone I hope your all doing well today. Looks like it going to be a beautiful weekend here in California. Great weather for going to the flea market this Sunday over at the Rose Bowl, in Pasadena.

Unfortunately, I need to work this weekend. I had decided to post one of our Victorian screens in our small collection. This is a hand painted screen. Maybe from the late teens to the mid 20's. There are pink roses and a couple of butterflies and a song bird. I'm not sure if they show up that well on the photos. I hope you all enjoy your ~Show And Tell Friday~ Have a good weekend. Oh yes, I forgot to mention this is the first Camellia bud to open in our garden. A couple days ago she decided to make her debut that day. Happy hunting, if you go flea marketing or garage sale hunting this weekend. "Thank You" for visiting today....Julian

  2. Love that screen! Wish I lived in your neck of the woods. The only thing happening here this weekend is a craft fair! I'm dying for garage sale season to begin already. Oh and the forecast here is for rain - all weekend long. =(

  3. Lucky you in Florida. Here in Holland is it cold and the spring is far away. What a beautiful screen. Have a good hunt this weekend.

  6. Hi Julian ... You are so lucky to live in or close to Pasadena ...I used to love to go "junking" there when I lived in LA ..to bad you had to miss the big sale this year .. They also have a great yearly sale in Ventura that I've gone to ..not to far from LA ..but still a couple hour drive for me since I live in San Luis Obispo county... I love all your beautiful things .. thanks for sharing.
